As ever, Paul Smith presents his new fall/winter ’17 collection with a humorous approach and surrealist eye by mimicking the traditions of family portraits and parlour games.
Paper masks build on the feeling of English eccentricity that is present in every Paul Smith design. Meanwhile, animal disguises mirror the monkey, bird and feather prints that are key themes in the new collection. With tailoring at the heart of every Paul Smith collection, traditional cloths have been sourced from historic British mills.

Lovatt in Hawick, Scotland and Hardy Minnis in Huddersfield, have supplied classic fabrics in iconic British patterns – from Prince of Wales check to Black Watch tartan. These have then been used to create sharp, modern tailoring and overcoats for men and women.
