Missoni presented the men’s and women’s collection together for the first time in this unique spring summer show at Milan Fashion Week. The collection was sophisticated yet festive with diverse silhouettes. 20 years as creative director, Angela Missoni wanted to celebrate with this collection. “A party where the most distinctive, sensual, and spectacular traits of today’s Missoni style meet and celebrate.”

“Alluring, sensual transparencies and deep necklines contrast with masculine style pullovers in opaque melange or multicolor patterns. Loom-worked or intarsia pieces alternate with translucent slick-effect tees, blousons, and tank tops in viscose “macro-fiammata” lurex. Worn with pants or linen shorts and paired with slipper shoes in fabric or hand painted leather. For women, high-waisted briefs under long see-through dresses. Lurex leggings. Slingback shoes in python, or beaded slides. Big earrings with button-drop pendants in enamel and metal. Wide-brimmed straw hats that sensuously skim the shoulders add accents of unmistakable glamour.”
