The Kenzo Move is back for 2018 with a burst of multicolored freshness, and new colors call for new movements. For the Spring Summer 18 collection, Kenzo called on choreography duo “I Could Never Be A Dancer” to conceive and express the vivacity and energy of the new kicks through dance.

A globing casting call looking for dancers from different fields and nationalities came up with a roster of exceptional individuals. Each of these people has trained in a chosen style of dance, not limited to ballet, hip-hop, modern or electro. For this campaign, they incarnate a different color (light grey, dark blue, pink, red orange or yellow) and translate it into movement. Movements which perfectly encapsulate the drive and spirit of the storied Parisian fashion house.

For the music accompanying the video clips, Kenzo looked to frequent collaborator Lafawndah, who most notably created the music for the Kenzo SS18 fashion show which took place in Paris in June. The photos and videos were shot by the 5fruits videography and photography collective.

New colors for women include light grey, dark blue and pink. For men the Kenzo move comes in light grey, red orange and yellow. They join the original roster of colors – red, royal blue, navy and black.

The Kenzo Move arrives in Kenzo Stores, kenzo.com and in partnering retailers from the 2nd January and retails at 195€.
