Anderson said he liked the idea of sanctuary, of calm. Indeed, one of the pieces was as homespun as it gets, a skirt made from what looked like an oversized cotton dish towel. “When we were working on the collection I wanted something a little more grounded, rough, less static, like a kind of calm before a storm. It’s this idea that everything comes back ‘round again, that once you put something out in the world it comes back out again.”
