Dolce & Gabbana has always been in the conversation when it comes to discussing some of the most influential names in European fashion, and designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana proved that in Milan with the brand’s 2018 spring/summer collection. Featuring bold mottos like “D&G give me freedom” and “I ‘m not your scapegoat,” Dolce & Gabbana wanted to showcase love and passion within today’s youth. Not only did they do that through patterns and slogans, but the brand decided on using internet famous millennials, such as Instagram personality King Bach and Myles B. O’Neal, son of Shaquille.
Another common theme throughout the collection Dolce & Gabbana’s use of playing card patterns on jackets and sweaters. Red hearts add splashes of color to the neutral shades of the collection, as well as the animal-inspired prints used on some trousers and outerwear.
